BOTOX® COSMETIC injections can be used to raise your eyebrows and make you look refreshed and eliminate the lines between your eyes that make you look mad. Most of us have horizontal creases of the forehead and these are easily reduced with BOTOX®. It is also used to reduce crows feet around your eyes from years of squinting. Just a small amount placed beneath the eyes reduces wrinkling of this area. JUVÉDERM® is a hyaluronic acid gel filler that is used for a variety of purposes in my practice. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance with the consistency of jelly that binds water and gives the skin a sponginess and soft quality. JUVÉDERM® can be used to fill in creases like the nasolabial folds (parentheses) between the nose and mouth and marionette or puppet lines lateral to the mouth. JUVÉDERM® can also be used to fill in the hollows of the cheeks, or build up the upper cheeks. I also use JUVÉDERM® to fill in just below the eyes (tear troughs) which makes a remarkable difference in the age related loss of tissue beneath the eyes. RADIESSE® wrinkle filler consists of smooth calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres that are suspended in a water-based gel carrier. Over time, as the patient's own soft tissue replaces the gel carrier, the newly formed collagen provides the desired long-term effect. I use RADIESSE® primarily to build up the upper cheeks to restore a higher cheek bone. This also has the effect of diminishing the nasolabial folds.

LATISSE® is the first and only FDA-approved prescription treatment for inadequate or not enough lashes, growing them longer, fuller and darker. LATISSE® is a once-a-day treatment you apply topically to the base of your upper eyelashes. You may start to see more length in as little as 4 weeks and should achieve full growth in 16 weeks. It's your own eyelashes - only better.

Sclerotherapy is used to treat spider veins. Spider veins are small red or purple vessels close to the surface of the skin. Sclerotherapy involves a series of injections of a salt solution into blood vessels that causes them to shrink or disappear over time. This is a safe and effective way to treat unsightly spider veins. Results can be achieved in 1 - 2 sessions.
